ABSTRACT

Objective:To analyze the needs and recommendation of nurses in level3 general hospital for the application scenarios of nursing robots, so as to provide a basis for the design of intelligent machine systems to reduce the workload of nurses in the hospitals. Methods:Using phenomenological research methods, a total of 17 clinical nurses from Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital Affiliated to Medical School of Nanjing University, Zhongda Hospital Southeast University and the First People′s Hospital of Lianyungang from November 2021 to March 2022 were selected for semi-structured interviews. Colaizzi content analysis method was used to sort out the data. Results:Clinical nurses′requirements for application scenarios of nursing robots could be summarized into four themes: feasibility of clinical application of robot recognized by nurses; expected alternative care scenarios; summary of nursing robot design features; multiple factors limit the application of nursing robots. Conclusions:Clinical nurses have diverse requirements for the application scenarios of nursing robots, and only part of non-clinical tasks will be authorized to robots in a short period of time. In the face of future opportunities and challenges, with the help of policies, legal supervision should be strengthened, so as to improve the reliability and safety of clinical application of nursing robots.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo investigate the expression patterns of ZEB2 and C-myc in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) and the associations between their expressions and the pathological features of EOC.

METHODSThe expressions of ZEB2 and C-myc proteins were detected immunohistochemically in 191 cervical cancer tissues and 13 normal ovarian tissues. The relationship between ZEB2 and C-myc protein expressions and the clinicopathological features of EOC was evaluated.

RESULTSZEB2 positive expression ratea in EOC tissues and normal ovarian tissues were 49.2% (94/191) and 30.8% (4/13), respectively (P=0.007), and C-myc positive expression rates in the two tissues were 53.9% (103/191) and 15.4% (2/13), respectively (P=0.001). A high expression of ZEB2 was positively correlated with the pathological type of the tumor (P=0.003), FIGO stage (P=0.028), T stage (P=0.002), and N stage (P=0.04), and a high expression of C-myc was positively correlated with FIGO stage (P=0.035), histological grade (P=0.039), and T stage (P=0.002). C-myc and ZEB2 expressions were positively correlated in EOC (P<0.001), and their co-expression in EOC was significantly correlated with T stage (R=0.358, P<0.001) and FIGO stage (P=0.008).

CONCLUSIONZEB2 and C-myc can promote the progression, invasion and metastasis of EOC, and their combined detection may assist in early diagnosis of EOC.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To study long time aerobic training effect on mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) content and activities of mitochondrial respiratory chain complexes in the myocardium and brain tissues of aged rats. Method: Forty-five rats were randomly divided into three groups Group A(n=15)younger rats did not received training; Group B (n=15) old rats did not received training; Group C (n=15) old rats received gradually training for 90 days. The mtDNA content were determined by methods of Yah erc, the activity of mitochondrial respiratory chain complexes in myocardium and brain tissues were determined by methods of Wu etc. Result: The mitochondrial DNA content in myocardium and brain tissues significantly increased (P<0.01) and the activity of mitochondrial respiratory chain complexes in myocardium and brain tissues significantly decreased (P<0.05-0.01) in the aging control group as compared with those in the young group. The mitochondrial DNA content in myocardium significantly decreased (P< 0.05), while there was no significant difference in brain. The activity of mitochondrial respiratory chain complexes in myocardium and brain tissues significantly incroased(P<0.05-0.01) in the aging training group as compared with those in the aging control group. Conclusion: the long time aerobic training could decline the mitochondrial DNA content and increase the activity of mitochondrial respiratory chain complexes in myocardium and brain tissues in aging rats.
